Tywyn
and area north of the town
includes Fairbourne, Llwyngwril, Llangelynnin, Rhoslefain, and Llanfendigaid.
An area of farming and tourism on The Cardigan Bay coastline. Rural villages and small towns with history centered on the slate quarries just inland. Fairbourne to the north is at the southern end of The Fairbourne Railway and Tywyn to the south is at the start of the World famous Talyllyn Railway. Throughout the area there are a number of caravan and camping sites and access by rail is particularly good, being serviced by no less than five railway stations on the fabulous Cambrian Coast Line.
