The stadium now dominates the skyline of central Cardiff and is visible from many parts of the city. The closeness of hotels, pubs, restaurants and all that the centre has to offer has made it a firm favourite with visitors . The nearest pubs are some 50 metres from the main entrance gate! The first picture shows a view taken from the Taff footbridge, near to the Glamorgan Cricket Club, south to the stadium.
The picture below shows the stadium from inside. A packed house for a Wales v Italy football match. The sliding roof closed over 70,000 supporters who enjoyed a suprise result, Wales 2 Italy 1.
